Heartland Fence Company is a family owned fencing contractor serving Aitkin, MN and the surrounding towns of Brainerd, Baxter, Garrison, McGregor, Isle, Onamia, and Deerwood. Dale Lindqvist founded the company in 2011. It has been family owned and family run from the first post hole. We build for homes, farms, and lake properties across Aitkin, Crow Wing, and Mille Lacs counties.

We never set out to be the biggest fence company in the area. We set out to do good work close to home. Today, most of the jobs on our schedule come from farmers and lake home owners who tell their neighbors about us. When your name travels from farm to farm and dock to dock, you learn to protect it. So we build every fence like the referral depends on it.

Our crew builds wood privacy fences, vinyl fences, chain link fences, farm and ranch fencing for cattle, and gates. We also repair fences, including fences we did not build. Wood privacy fence installation is our most requested job. On the farm side, we keep it simple: a cattle fence has one job, to hold livestock, and we build it to do that job for years.
